As an alias to the Hong Kong experimental musician Li Chin Sung, the music of Dj Dee is a total U-turn to explore the world of electronic music. In this series of his release, we will experience an extensive sight of electronic music.
The 8 tracks of the album are named after either the time when the artist started producing the track, or the time when the track is completed. The album reflects the mood of certain people at certain times in certain Sundays. In addition, the artist reveals that this is the first of a seven-album series, with “Saturday”, “Friday” ……following up soon. No doubt that Dj Dee is presenting us with a colorful musical week.
“Sunday” expresses an experimental kind of Ambient Techno / Dark Ambient which the album is based on, and then extended to a variety of musical directions. On first impression, the musical styles are hard to unify, but after careful hearings, it turns out that a common theme lies beneath all styles.
